OWASSO – The No. 16 in Class 6A Shawnee girls basketball team earned a 53-49 win over No. 19 Sapulpa Friday night in the Region 4 tournament to knock off Sapulpa and advance to Monday's regional title game against Owasso.

The Lady Wolves led 24-19 at the halftime break but an 18-15 Sapulpa run shortened Shawnee's lead to 39-37 going to the fourth.
