OWASSO – The Shawnee boys lost a 79-69 contest to Norman Saturday at the Class 6A regional tournament in Owasso to finish the season with a record of 10-14.

The Wolves trailed 40-34 at the half and went on a 22-15 run to take a 56-55 advantage into the fourth quarter. A solid 11-14 performance from the free throw line in the fourth and 10 points from Dayten Holman gave Norman the advantage down the stretch.

Shawnee trailed by ten after the first quarter but fought back in the second on seven points from Chase Morris and six from Carson Meier in a 19-15 run to the half.

Holman led all scorers with 25 points and Jake Ogle had 21 with three 3-pointers. Bryce Mooreland was 6-6 from the line, all in the fourth quarter.

Meier completed the game with 22 points and hit four three's and Morris had 14 with three treys. Ramey Harrison and Shaun Willis each had nine and LJ McKissick finished with eight.

The Wolves will lose eight seniors to graduation.
