LAS VEGAS – (Round Two Results) Oklahoma Baptist men's golf improved 11 strokes from round one to round two, but slipped to 14th Monday at the Las Vegas Desert Classic, hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

The Bison shot 303 as a team at Royal Links Golf Club after an opening round of 314 on Sunday. OBU's 617 two-day total is just seven strokes off Barton College in 10th place. Top-ranked West Florida sits first as a team in 573 and owns the top individual performance with Chandler Blanchet's 12-under 132.

Mason Nutt is tied for 26th place at 151 following a three-over 75 in round two. Dalton Rhoden paced the team with a one-over 73 and is tied for 41st with a 153 total. Davis Farnell shot 76, bringing his score to 155 through two rounds. Payton Posada and Dakota Clark each carded a 79 Monday. Posada sits at 158 and Clark 160 heading into the final round.

Play will conclude Tuesday with the final round set for a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Central.
