EDMOND, Okla. – (Round One Results) An opening round 331 at Kickingbird Golf Club has Oklahoma Baptist women's golf tied for 10th Monday at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational, hosted by Southern Nazarene.

In a tightly bunched field, only eight strokes separate the Lady Bison from Arkansas Tech in seventh place. Henderson State leads after an opening round 306 and HSU's Taylor Loeb leads individually at one-over 71.

Elly Baze and Sydney Bowman led the way for OBU with matching scores of 82. The two are tied for 35th place heading into the final round. Shannen Stewart carded an 83 and is tied for 44th. Michelle Carr finished in 84 and Shelby Phillips shot 86 to open the tournament.

Five players entered as individuals for the Lady Bison, paced by senior Paige Neidy at 84. Olivia Klefsaas fired an 88, Kadrian Shelton finished in 91 strokes, Grace Johnson shot 93 and Sidney Stover carded 98 to round out the group.

The tournament will conclude with a final round at Kickingbird Tuesday.
