HARRAH — The Panthers of Harrah chalked up 15 hits Tuesday to claim a 12-4 victory over Bethel.
Harrah scored in five of six innings as the game was stopped on the eight-run rule when the Panthers scored four times in the bottom of the sixth.
Bethel scored two runs in the fifth and two runs in the sixth.
The Wildcats were limited to six hits as leadoff batter Jake Williams led the way at 2 of 3. Williams, who had two singles, scored once and drove in a run.
Gunner Smith had Bethel’s sole extra-base hit with a double. Teammates Terrell Dodson, Brendan Carlile and Seth Jackson finished with a single apiece.
Starting Bethel pitcher Ben Lauck, who went the first three innings, permitted seven runs, all earned . He gave up nine hits, fanned four and walked four.
Reliever Brendan Carlile, who pitched the final 2 2/3 innings, allowed five runs, three of which were earned. He whiffed one and walked three.
Harrah played errorless ball while Bethel committed two errors.
Bethel launched its season Monday night with an 8-5 loss to Harrah at Bethel.
Bethel will play Thursday at Holdenville, then travel to Purcell Saturday.
