ASHER – It was not a good day at the ballpark for Asher Monday night after losing two games to Latta and Stonewall on a combined score of 14-1.

Latta handed Asher their first loss of the day 9-0 in six innings off of 14 hits.

Braden Sanders (0-2) was handed the loss on the mound and gave up six runs in five innings off of 11 hits. He struck out five and walked three. Junior Hasbell pitched in the sixth and gave up three runs on three hits.

Trevor Martin had an RBI double in the first inning of the Indians' 5-1 loss to Stonewall in the second game of the day.

Martin was given his first loss on the mound after allowing five runs on ten hits and striking out seven to move to 2-1 on the season from the bump. Jake Dobbs relieved Martin in the seventh.

The 3-4 Indians travel to New Lima Friday at 4:30.
