DALE — Austin Custar and Bryce Crawford launched home runs Friday as Dale crushed visiting Sulphur 22-3.

Crawford and Custar had identical 3-for -3 offensive stats with Crawford driving in four runs 3-0.

The game lasted just 3 ½ innings because of the run rule.

Crawford also doubled, as did teammates Gant Hathcock and Drew Reed. Hathcock drove in three runs. Reed had two RBI.

Crawford earned the pitching victory with a two-inning stint. He fanned three and didn’t permit a run while giving up two hits.

Carson Hunt went 1 1/3 innings, allowing three runs and four hits. David Herring retired two batters, both on strikeouts.

The only negative for Dale was six errors.

Dale, 3-0, will play at Red Oak today at noon.

The Pirates will participate in the Tuttle Tournament March 21-24.
