TECUMSEH — The Savages of Tecumseh won their third straight game Friday with a 9-8 decision over Mount St. Mary.
Andrew Lewis, the third of four Tecumseh hurlers, earned the pitching victory. Lewis, who pitched the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, permitted one run, one hit, fanned three and walked two.
Kameron Permetter, who relieved Lewis on in the top of the seventh, surrendered two runs on one hit. He fanned two and walked one but earned this second save of the season. Tecumseh had taken a 9-6 lead after scoring five runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth.
Tristin Anthony started on the mound and went 1 2/3 innings, followed by Kullen Meadows, who went 1 1/3 innings.
Caleb Kelsey of Tecumseh drove in three runs, including a 2-run single. Permetter added two singles.
Tecumseh (3-4) will entertain Chandler at noon today. The Savages will travel to Seminole Monday, then entertain Seminole Tuesday.
