OKEMAH – Prague decimated Kiefer 23-1 and lost to Okemah 12-9 at the Okemah Festival to give the Lady Devils their first loss of the season Saturday.

The Lady Devils took advantage of nine errors against Okemah but committed five of their own in the loss.

Adisyn Auld homered in the bottom of the first and Rachel Rumsey scored on an error to get the Lady Devils on the board early against Okemah. Three more errors in the second added four more runs but Okemah responded with six in the top of the third to even things up.

Karsyn Coleman scored on another error in the third to give Prague their last lead of the game but a three-run blast in the fifth kicked off a six-run Okemah rally and get things out of reach for the Lady Devils.

Auld and Brittany Harwell had two hits apiece and Harwell doubled twice. Gracie Hightower was 1-4 with a double.

Auld and Macyn Anderson each hit a grand slam in the Kiefer game to give the Lady Devils a big boost in the short three-inning game. Auld homered one more time and Hightower and Rumsey also went long.

Anderson and Auld drove in six runs each, Hightower added three, Taylor Hodges had two and Rumsey tripled.

The Lady Devils move to 4-1 on the season with the win.
