HARRAH – Tristian Thompson and the Tecumseh Savages didn't give up a run in five innings of work to take down Sulphur 9-0 Friday at Harrah.
Anthony allowed three hits and walked three, but the Savages held off any attacks that would have netted Sulphur a run to give Anthony the win on the mound.
Up 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Will Hilton doubled to left to score Andrew Lewis and kick off a five-run rally. Hilton scored on a passed ball, Kameron Permetter and Anthony each doubled to drive in a run and an error allowed Permetter to come home.
Jayden Shafer (0-1) and Byron Thompson (0-3) each drove in two runs and the Savages took advantage of seven walks and four Sulphur errors to take the win.
Tecumseh evens up at 6-6 with the win and will play Lone Grove today at 3:30 p.m. at Harrah.
