HOLDENVILLE — Alex Anderson’s run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning fueled Prague to a 4-3 victory over Holdenville Thursday.

Anderson, the leadoff hitter, went 3-for-5 at the plate, including a 2-run double as Prague scored three runs in the second.

Mason Cooper and Isaac Bloomer added two singles apiece as Prague finished with nine hits.

Cooper, the pitching starter, allowed three runs, all unearned, in 1 1/3 innings. He fanned three and walked one.

Anderson went the next 3 1/3 innings, surrendering no runs, three hits and fanning three. Bloomer got the win after allowing one hit, whiffing three and walking two over the last 3 1/3 innings.

Prague, 10-6, prevailed despite stranding 10 baserunners.

The Red Devils will travel to Little Axe Tuesday for a 4:30 contest.
