SHAWNEE – (Final Results) Oklahoma Baptist men won 10 events Saturday in the OBU Invitational at Hurt Memorial Track.

Bison men were crowned champion in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:17.09 and finished second in the 4x100 relay in 42.49 seconds.

Nathan Crowson won the 1500-meter run in 4:03.83 and Jacob Janzen was third at 4:05.18.

Janzen won the 5000-meter run in 15:06.02, beating the field by over five seconds.

Sayvon Milton took first place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.88.

Carlos James won a crowded field in the 800-meter run, finishing in 1:55.01. Dillon Phillips took third place at 1:56.26.

OBU swept the 400-meter hurdles, led by Dakota Kappelle in 55.63. Cayden Spain was second in 55.86 and Hayden Ashley finished third at 58.25. Spain also finished third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.96.

Nathaniel Worley won the long jump with a leap of 22' 1.5" (6.74 meters) and took first in the high jump after clearing 6' 5.5" (1.97m). Worley also placed first in the triple jump at 45' 6.5" (13.88m).

Luke Cusack won the pole vault at 12' 1.5" (3.70m).

On Friday, Saleem Fadel won the hammer throw with a provisional qualifying distance of 195' 6.5" (59.60m).

DeAngelo Robles finished runner-up in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 10:10.07 and Jarrett Ellis was third at 10:12.66.

Micah Brewer was third in the 100-meter dash in 10.90.

Jacob Cochran finished third in the discus throw with a distance of 139' 10" (42.63m).

Andrew Worley placed runner-up in the decathlon, scoring 5605 points. He won the 110 hurdles in 15.73 and took first in the javelin throw at 153' 2" (46.69m).

The Bison will next compete at the Baylor Invitational on April 7 in Waco, Texas. OBU will also send athletes to the Sam Adams Combined Events meet on April 6-7, hosted by Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.
