MUSKOGEE – The Tecumseh Lady Savages beat Tahlequah 7-4 but lost to Broken Bow 12-0 Saturday in the final day of the Muskogee Slugout.

Taylor Frizzell, Gabi Jordan and Channing Scallorn each homered to drive in the bulk of the runs in the 7-4 win over Tahlequah.

Ayzia Shirey reached on a single to lead off the game and Scallorn sent the first pitch she saw over the wall to take an early lead.

Frizzell blasted a shot to center with one out in the top of the third and Jordan followed suit to go ahead 6-1. Annie Boatman singled to score Scallorn in the fourth but was caught trying to stretch out a double for the third out.

Taylor Walker and Jordan were each 3-4 and drove in a run and Scallorn was 2-4 with two RBI and scored twice. Shirey and Frizzell had two hits apiece.

Boatman doubled in the loss to Broken Bow but the Lady Savages of Tecumseh were unable to get anything consistent going. Broken Bow homered six times for 10 runs, including a walk-off in the bottom of the third on run-rule.

Tecumseh, now 7-8 on the season, will host Lexington and Dale Monday beginning at 5 p.m.
