WEATHERFORD – A big third and fourth inning brought an early 13-3 end to Tecumseh's game against Kingfisher Saturday on the final day of the I-40 Classic in Weatherford.

Kingfisher brought home six runs in the third and another six runs was capped in the bottom of the fourth with a walk-off.

Will Hilton reached on an error in the top of the second to allow Gage Boatman to score and take the Savages' first lead of the game.

Kingfisher got one back in the bottom on an RBI single and Tristian Anthony singled to bring home Kameron Permetter in the top of the third for Tecumseh's last lead of the game.

Permetter and Kullen meadows each had a double and Jayden Shafer drove in a run with a single in the fourth. Neither team had any batters with multiple hits and the Savages committed nine errors and left seven stranded.

Boatman got the start on the mound and pitched 2 2/3 innings as Tecumseh went through four pitchers. Boatman gave up seven runs on four hits and walked four before Andrew Lewis came in to relieve him with two outs in the third.

Lewis allowed four runs on one hit and walked two. Caleb Kelsey replaced him with no outs in the fourth and faced four batters before Will Hilton came in to close things out with the final batter of the game.

Tecumseh falls to 9-8 with the loss and will host Varnum Monday at 4:30.
