CHANDLER — The Lady Lions of Chandler rebounded from a 12-2 loss to Cushing with a 4-2 win over Barnsdall Tuesday.
Cushing, which scored in every inning of the five-frame contest, outhit Chandler 15-7. Chandler also committed four errors. Cushing errored once.
Morgan Fowble had Chandler’s only extra-base hit, a double, to go along with a single. No other Chandler player had more than one hit. Kelsey Williams and Fowble drove in a run.
Cushing finished with six doubles.
In the nightcap, Chandler jumped on Barnsdall for three runs in the bottom of the first and closed its scoring with a single tally in the third.
Brooke McCollough was the hitting standout with a home run, double and two runs. Williams had a double and single. Also collecting two singles for Chandler were Bryanna Clark, Hailey Williams and Fowble.
Fowble earned the pitching win as Chandler didn’t have an error.
Chandler is 5-13.
