STROUD — Staring straight at defeat, Meeker rallied past Stroud, 17-13, Thursday to move to 13-7 on the year.

Stroud held a 13-8 advantage entering the top of the seventh inning but Meeker tallied nine runs. Budgie Cameron’s first-pitch, two-run double broke a 13-13 tie. Cameron also drove in a run on a sacrifice fly.

Johnny Jones of Meeker claimed a seventh-inning HR. Teammate and leadoff hitter Jacob Martin went long in the opening inning.

Raceton Sedlacek had a double, single and two runs scored for the Bulldogs.

Martin scored three times, posted two hits and drove in two runs.

Meeker employed pitchers Martin, Kade Brewster and Jones.

Meeker will entertain Bethel at 4:30 today. Harrah will entertain Meeker at 1 p.m. Saturday.
