DALE — Bryce Crawford and Scout Capps registered three hits Monday, propelling Dale to a 10-8 triumph over Tupelo.

Dale outhit Tupelo 14-6 but the visitors were the recipient of 10 base on balls and two Pirate errors.

Capps went 3-of-3 with two doubles. Also doubling for the Pirates were Gant Hathcock and David Herring.

Herring, Hathcock and Cooper Hunt had two hits. Herring had three runs batted in. Capps and Hunt scored twice.

Avery Gould of Tupelo chalked up two doubles in a 3-of-3 outing.

Hunt, who relieved Jaxon Wright in the fourth inning, was awarded the win. Hunt, in 3 2/3 innings, allowed three runs (two earned), three hits, fanned five and walked four.

Dale, 15-5, will play at Jones today at 4:30. The Pirates will travel to Oktaha Thursday (4:30), then entertain Christian Heritage at 11 a.m. Saturday.
