McLOUD — The Redskins of McLoud tallied three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to knock off Bethany 6-4 Monday.

McLoud made the most of six hits as Josh Maddox, Koalton Keller and Duke Crossley doubled.

Five of McLoud’s runs were unearned as the result of two Bethany errors.

Wyatt Olds, Keller, Maddox and Crossley drove in a run apiece.

Maddox, who hurled the opening five innings, surrendered three runs, one of which was unearned. He gave up five hits, fanned six and walked one. Zac Green hurled the last two innings. Green gave up one unearned run, whiffed two and walked one.

McLoud, 11-12, will be at Bethany (20-4) today for a 5:15 matchup. The Redskins will play in the Okmulgee Tournament Thursday through Saturday. McLoud will start tourney action at 4 p.m. Thursday versus the Glenpool-Howe victor.

McLoud has a 9-4 record on Monday and Tuesday games.
