BETHEL – The Bethel football team held their eighth grade signing day Tuesday to outline what is expected of the young players when they begin their high school careers. Nine Bethel eighth graders signed the commitment.

“I look forward to this group joining the Bethel High School Football Team,” coach Joey Ginn said. “This group finished their 8th Grade Year with a 6-2 record. They are a tough group that plays the sport the right way. They enter high school with high hopes and outstanding goals. We expect great things from them in the classroom, in the community, and on the field.”

The commitment emphasized attendance, punctuality, respect and hard work.

The nine signees will join 28 returning letter winners this fall. The Wildcats open the season Friday August 31, at Tecumseh.
