SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist placed four athletes on the 2018 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field All-Central Region men's team, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced.

All-Region honors are awarded for posting a top-five individual finish in each of the eight regions in addition to each member of a top-three relay team in the region. This season marks the first for OBU athletes to be eligible for the distinction.

Carlos James, Shirvante Knauls, Sayvon Milton and Dillon Phillips were named All-Region in the 4x400-meter relay. The relay team owns the No. 18 time in the country this season at 3:11.74, set at the Drake Relays.

Knauls also earned All-Region honors in the 400-meter run with the No. 34 time in 47.64 seconds while competing at the Arkansas Twilight meet.

The NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championship begins May 24 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
