Southern Arkansas infielder Alan Trayler has transferred to Oklahoma Baptist University for his senior baseball season.
Trayler batted .333 at Southern Arkansas with two home runs and seven RBIs in 18 at-bats in his junior season under coach Alan Gumm.
He batted .340 with 14 home runs, 52 RBIs and 35 stolen bases in 2009 at Neosho Community College, and was an All-Conference shortstop for coach Steve Murry.
Trayler was an All-State third baseman at aDumas (Texas) High School.
The son of Don and Kellie Trayler, Trayler intends to major in exercise science.
Trayler selected Oklahoma Baptist “to finish school and finish my baseball career at OBU,” he said.
