OBU stops No. 21 Madonna

Unranked Oklahoma Baptist knocked off a second Top 25 team in a week’s time Friday when they stopped No. 21 Madonna 3-1 in the opening day of the Embry-Riddle Tournament in Daytona, Fla.
OBU won 25-20, 19-25, 25-18 and 25-22 to move to 3-3 on the season after a four-set loss to Northwestern Ohio Friday morning.
Rupia Inck collected 17 kills while Chassie Hamilton and Suyan Leipelt added nine apiece. Sabra Clark had 42 assists and Tasha White had two aces.
Defensively, OBU got 29 digs from Leipelt and 25 from Cami Weimer while OBU went crazy on the blocks. Sarah Allison and Inck  led OBU with six blocks each, while Skyler Strahm had five and Clark added four.
Against Northwestern State, Inck had 25 kills, 15 digs, three assist, an ace and a block.
