Oklahoma Baptist got a 4-0 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State Friday in Sooner Athletic Conference women’s soccer action.
OBU’s Mengjun Zang scored in the 21st minute for a 1-0 lead, getting an assist from Courtney Anderson.
Zang scored again in the 32nd minute with an assist from Kirsten Morrow for a 2-0 edge.
Anderson found the net in the 37th minute, using a feed from Morrow for a 3-0 lead that held through the first half.
OBU added a Nataley Johnson goal in the 51st minute for the final tally.
The Lady Bison had 33 shots in the game, including 13 on goal. Anderson had four shots on goal and 10 shots overall to lead OBU.
Shannon Griffith got the shutout for the Lady Bison, stopping both NWOSU shots on goal. OBU out-shot the Lady Rangers 33-4 in the match.
Now 9-5 overall and 4-2 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, the Lady Bison resume SAC play Tuesday at home against Oklahoma City.
