Five different Bison scored in Oklahoma Baptist’s 6-1 Sooner Athletic Conference men’s soccer victory at Wayland Baptist Friday.
OBU posted 21 shots, putting 10 on goal, with Andre Costa scoring twice.
Costa scored on a penalty kick with 2:36 gone in the match.
Victor Costa made it a 2-0 OBU lead with a 25th-minute goal, getting an assist from James Gilreath. Cristiano Sampaio scored on a direct kick for a 3-0 halftime lead.
Andre Costa scored off a Victor Costa assist in the 64th minute and Nick Pettit and Kyle Kleeburg scored in the 68th and 71st minutes for a 6-0 advantage.
Jacob Hibbard, who played 70 minutes in goal, collected two saves.
Now 4-9-3 overall and 2-5 in the SAC, the Bison host USAO Monday at 2 p.m.

Cournty Anderson scored three goals and added an assist while Lin Yan added a goal and two assists.
Mengun Zang opened the scoring 2:29 into the action, then Anderson ended a 28-minute drought for a 2-0 lead.
Anderson scored again, in the 39th minute, on a header off a feed from Cara Cecil.
A Yan goal in the 70th minute and Anderson’s hat trick goal in the 71st minute ended the scoring.
Anderson extended her single-season goal record to 17.
Shannon Griffith had three saves for OBU.
The Lady Bison, 10-6 overall and 5-3 in SAC action, will entertain USAO at noon Monday.
