Jenks High School standout Josiah Soap has signed to run track and cross country at Oklahoma Baptist for the 2010-11 season.
Soap competes in the 800, 1600 and relays in track.
A team captain at Jenks, Soap placed sixth in the state meet in the 1600 meters and excelled in the classroom.
“OBU has a great reputation of winning, great academics, and when I toured the campus, I felt like it was a really good fit for me,” Soap said. “All of the staff I talked to seemed to be more than happy to answer any questions I had, and the students I talked to seemed to love their school.”
