Cuesta Junior College All-Section catcher Mitchell Prophet is transferring to Oklahoma Baptist University for the 2010-11 baseball season.
Prophet, a 6-0 native of Visalia, Calif., hit .284 with four home runs and six doubles under coach Bob Miller at Cuesta last season.
He was a first-team All-Valley at Mt. Whitney High School under coach Dave Hart. He also played for the SLO Rattlers summer collegiate team.
Mitchell plans to major in psychology at OBU.
