SSC’s Permanent Issue performs winter concert

Ten members make the Seminole State College Permanent Issue Band that performed a free Winter concert on Tuesday night.

Seminole State College’s band, Permanent Issue, entertained the public with a free concert on, Tuesday, Dec. 8.
The free concert began at 7 p.m. in the Jeff Johnston Fine Arts Center on the SSC campus. All 10 members of the group participated in the event featuring music ranging from rock and roll to contemporary country.
Five vocalists were featured in Permanent Issue: Zach Davis of Wewoka, Hillary Barnett of Tecumseh, Kailyn Parker of Cromwell, Kendell Kincade of Strothers and Scott Miles of Prague.
Five other members play musical instruments: Robby Deere of Okemah plays lead and rhythm guitar, Josh Hudson of Wolf plays lead and rhythm guitar, Nathan Hawkins of Prague plays Bass Guitar, Coltan Arms of Chandler plays Drums and Ryan Hulin of Tecumseh plays Keyboards.
Permanent Issue performs as a public relations tool for the college and supplies entertainment at SSC campus events and civic events, and tours local schools.
