Macomb hunting for elusive second-ever win

Macomb will once again hunt the elusive second-ever win with a trip tonight to District B-2 opponent Oklahoma Christian Academy.
The Hornets won their opener against Carney, 48-12, before dropping a string of district clashes to Bowlegs, Cyril, Sasakwa, Davenport, Central Marlow and Paoli.
Davenport (6-1, 6-0) is in sole possession of the district’s top spot, while Fox (5-2, 5-1) and Alex (5-2, 5-1) are knotted for second. Central (5-2, 4-2) holds down fourth place, and Macomb (1-6, 0-6) joins Oklahoma Christian (0-7, 0-6) at the bottom of the ladder.
In other B-2 confrontations tonight, Davenport goes to Bowlegs, Cyril goes to Paoli, Sasakwa goes to Central Marlow and Alex goes to Fox. All kickoffs are set for 7:30 p.m.
