Blake Murray scored four rushing touchdowns Friday night to spearhead Cushing to a season-ending 49-25 district victory over McLoud.
Murray posted scoring dashes of 4, 30, 41 and 6 yards as Cushing rolled up 389 yards on the ground on 52 carries.
McLoud’s only lead of the game came at 7-0 on Jason Barnett’s 2-yard run in the first quarter.
Akai Oldcrow of McLoud notched a 2-yard scoring run in the second quarter but Cushing still enjoyed a 21-15 halftime advantage.
Cushing led 35-21 after three quarters, despite a 12-yard scoring reception by McLoud’s Tyler York.
Talon Polach concluded Mcloud’s scoring in the fourth quarter with a 7-yard run.
McLoud quarterback Joseph Wood accumulated 223 passing yards.
Cushing didn’t commit a turnover while McLoud lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.
