Shawnee’s cross country squad came in 13th Saturday at the state cross country meet.
Edmond North High School won the team crown with a total time of 1:01.44,60. followed by Westmoore at 1:02:29.55.
Coming in third was Jenks (1:03:10.09), followed by Edmond Memorial (1:04:03.40).
Shawnee’s total time was 1:08:19.10 on the 3,200-meter course at Mitch Park.
Jessica Cousins posted Shawnee’s best time with a 13:20.81 effort. Fellow sophomoe Miranda Dent was 68th in the 111-entrant field with a time of 13:36.59.
Other Shawnee placers were senior Allison Burger, 72nd at 13:40.65; freshman Lexi Crowe, 75th at 13:47.06; junior Sarita Jenkins, 79th at 13:53.71; junior Bethany Hall, 109th at 15:22.32 and junior Natalie Gates, 110th at 15::47.89.
