Savages clip Seminole, 7-3

WELLSTON — Tyler Factor earned a pitching victory Saturday as Tecumseh clipped Seminole, 7-3.
Factor, in six innings of work, surrendered four hits and three runs, two of which were earned. He plunked two batters, walked one and fanned one.
Reliever Kevin Hill struck out the side in the seventh inning. Hill gave up one hit and one walk.
Hill also had a single and double in Tecumseh’s 11-hit attack. His first-inning double drove in a run as Tecumseh jumped out to a 4-0 lead. The Savages added a single run in the second and four in the fourth.
Trenton Patten, Tecumseh’s catcher, added a single and double while scoring three runs. John Jones of Tecumseh went 3-for-4 with three singles. He also drove in a run.
Savage Kyle Fowler added two singles and also drove in a run.
Tecumseh also faced McLoud Saturday, dropping a 3-0 decision to the Redskins as Dillon Endecott got credit for the shutout.
Tecumseh, 2-1, will host the Tecumseh Festival Monday and Tuesday. The day will kick off at 11 a.m. with a clash between McLoud and Weatherford. Tecumseh will then take on Weatherford at 1:15, followed by a 3:30 clash between McLoud and Hennessey. Tecumseh and Hennessey will finish Monday’s action at 5:45 p.m.
