Sophomore Jordan Murphy netted 24 points Tuesday night to fuel McLoud’s girls to a 57-38 frolic over Okemah.
McLoud, which never trailed, led 41-24 at the half. The 16th-ranked Lady Redskins also received 14 points from Ashley Boyer, including two 3-point field goals.
McLoud, 12-6, was 11-of-15 from the line, including 10-of-10 from the free-throw line.
In the boys’ nightcap, Okemah stormed to a 76-33 victory as nine Panthers scored.
Joseph Wood led McLoud (3-15) with eight points. Klayton Adams finished with seven.
Okemah was 11-of-22 from 3-point range and Kyler Lee posted six treys while tallying 26 points.
McLoud’s squads will entertain Prague Friday night as part of homecoming. The boys’ game will kick off the festivites at 6:30 p.m.
