Seminole’s girls turned a 33-22 halftime deficit into a 60-51 victory over Tecumseh Tuesday night.
Paris Willis was instrumental in the win with game-high totals in scoring (19) and rebounding (10).
Baylee Lucas added 10 points for Seminole (7-10) while Cheese Tilley posted nine points, four steals and four assists.
For Tecumseh (5-11), sophomore Vaun Longhorn recorded three treys among her team-high 12 points. Dominique Bear of Tecumseh had 11 points and Jalynn Williams knocked down two treys.
Seminole was just 4-of-17 from the line and Tecumseh was 8-of-18.
In the boys game, the Tecusmeh Savages blitzed Seminole early then cruised to a 64-45 victory. Tecumseh led 13-3 after the first quarter and the lead swelled to 28-10 at the half.
The Savages hit five of 14 from the 3-point line en route to their tenth win of the season. Alan Brewer led Tecusmeh with 20 and Julio Hukill added a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Jacob Jones also collected 11 points for Tecumseh.
“We played very unselfish tonight,” said Tecumseh assistant coach Kyle Richey. “We had 16 assists as a team.”
Tecumseh, 10-8, has a busy weekend coming up with a trip to Byng Friday night and a trip to Harrah Saturday.
Seminole will be at Okemah Friday.
