The Liberty Academy Lady Eagles dropped a heartbreaker on Tuesday night as they played host to Wright Christian. Wright Christian emerged with a 74-72 win.
Wright Christian led 74-72 in the second overtime when Liberty’s Kelsee Crawley hit a three-pointer but it was ruled no good as time had expired.
Crawley led all scorers with 39 points while Wright Christian’s Megan Reid was a very close second with 38.
Joining Crawley in double figures was Tiffany Wilson with 16 for the Lady Eagles.
Wright Christian’s Staci Gravette added 24 while Aubrey Scott netted 10.
Liberty’s girls drop to 10-8 on the season.
