Meeker’s crews were swept by Stroud Friday, beginning with a 46-40 loss for the Lady Bulldogs.
The downfall for the host Lady Bulldogs (7-12) was 3-point shooting. Meeker was just 7-of-27 in that department.
Cortney Edmonds was Meeker’s high scorer with 17 points, including three treys. Summer Powell knocked down two treys and finished with 10 points.
Meeker’s boys, despite putting three players in double figures, fell to 7-11 with a 61-48 setback.
Stroud’s Tigers led 16-13 to start the second quarter, and 29-21 to start the second half. Meeker was out-scored 32-27 from there.
Dalton Maston paced the Bulldogs with 17 points, and teammates Waylon Trevino and Trey Doss added 14 and 13, respectively. Stroud’s Ryan McElvaney reaped a game-high 22.
Meeker will host Okemah Tuesday.
