Tecumseh trailed by three at the end of the first quarter, and by four at halftime. Byng ran its advantage to 33-22 by the end of the third quarter.
Tecumseh’s Alan Brewer led all scorers with 24 points, and teammate Dakota Davis pulled in a team-high 10 rebounds to go with nine points. Julio Hukill added five rebounds.
Tate O’Grady scored 20 points to lead Byng.
The Savages were 12-for-30 from 2-point range, and 6-for-16 from 3-point range for an 18-for-46 (39.1 percent) night on field goals.
Tecumseh was 8-for-10 (80 percent) on foul shots.
Tecumseh will visit Harrah today, with the girls’ game beginning at 6:30 p.m.
