Behind a 39-point explosion by Charity Fowler, the Liberty Academy girls flogged Asher 71-28 Tuesday night.
Fowler also registered 12 rebounds and seven steals as Liberty improved to 3-0.
Blair Johnson of Liberty knocked down five 3-point field goals en route to 15 points. Johnson also chalked up a team-high eight assists.
For Asher (0-3), Erin Casey was the only double-figure scorer with 10 points.
In the boys game, Asher jumped out to a 15-8 first-quarter lead and went on to post a 60-46 triumph.
Matt Johnson of Asher notched three 3-point field goals while scoring 24 points. Derek Claytor and Zach Fowler put in 12 apiece and Fred Oliphant chipped in with 10. Fowler also had three treys.
The Liberty boys received 15 points apiece from Monte Roberts and Tanner Fowler. Fowler posted two 3-point field goals.
Asher’s boys are 2-0 whle Liberty is 1-1.
Both Liberty squads will play Friday night at the Oklahoma City Knights Festival. The girls game will begin at 8 and the boys contest at 9:30.
Both Asher teams will entertain Stonewall Friday night.
