Red Devils ground Rockets

The Prague Red Devils posted an 8-2 make-up win over Mount Saint Mary’s Rockets Tuesday.
The contest was originally scheduled Monday in Oklahoma City, but was rained out.
The Red Devils led 2-0 after the first inning, and 4-0 after five innings. The Rockets scored a run apiece in the top of the sixth and seventh innings, and Prague ended its scoring with a four-run sixth.
The Red Devils outhit Mount Saint Mary 5-2 as the two unranked, Class 3A squads committed a pair of errors each. Leading Prague’s offense were Tyler Dean and Tyler Duncan with an RBI single each, Caleb Lakins with a two-RBI double and Duncan Blackwell with a two-RBI single.
Justin Pearse finished 1-for-2 with a double, and Brad Crawford hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Ryan Bullard recorded a strikeout and pitched the win in three innings of relief. Starter Tyler Dean struck out three batters and walked two in the first two innings before Bullard came out to pitch the third, fourth and fifth frames.
Crawford relieved Bullard for 1 2/3 innings, striking out a batter, walking four and giving up one earned run. Austin Wyant closed and struck out one batter in 1/3 inning.
The Red Devils will appear in the district tournament at Beggs today.
