Oklahoma Baptist’s fourth-ranked Bison, the No. 1 team in the Sooner Athletic Conference’s 12-team standings, will host SAC opponent Oklahoma City University at 8 p.m. today at the Noble Complex.

The Bison are coming off a loss at John Brown, which put them at 18-3 overall and 11-3 in the SAC.

Oklahoma City’s Stars are 9-9 overall and 6-8 in the conference, and are ninth in the SAC field. OCU has lost four straight.

The Bison trail the Stars in the all-time series, 61-49, but OBU head coach Doug Tolin is 17-9 against OCU. The Bison defeated the Stars three times during the 2010-11 season, including an 84-71 victory at the SAC Tournament.

OBU’s women will take on the top-ranked Stars at 6 p.m. today in the Noble Complex.

The Lady Bison (11-11, 7-7 SAC) are coming off back-to-back losses to SAC foes Rogers State and John Brown, while the Stars (19-1, 13-1) hold a five-game winning streak.

OCU’s lone loss of the season was an 88-66 setback to visiting Lubbock Christian on Jan. 12. LCU (16-3, 13-0 SAC) is ranked seventh nationally, and is first in the SAC standings.
