Former St. Gregory’s basketball point guard Noah Zuhdi will try to keep his boxing record unblemished when he appears on a Tuesday night, July 22 card at Remington Park Racing and Casino in Oklahoma City.
Zuhdi, is 2-0 with two knockouts, both of which have been in the first round. Remington Park has yet to announce an opponent for Zuhdi.
Zuhdi is being managed by former world lightweight champion Sean O’Grady.
The racing card will begin at 6:30 p.m. with doors open at 6.
The main feature on the night includes undefeated super middleweight George Tahdooahnippah, who is 12-0-1 with 11 knockouts. Tahdooahnippah, a member of the Comanche Nation, wears full costume dance into the ring to the tune of drum beats.
Also on the card is undefeated super featherweight James DuBois (6-0, 2 KOs), who is traveling from San Antonio, Texas to box in a four round fight. His last fight resulted in a first-round knockout.
Also appearing on the card is local favorite welterweight Kyle Sherman, also scheduled to fight in a four-round fight. Sherman fought over 110 fights as an amateur before turning pro and his professional record is an impressive one (9-1, 6 KOs).
The top-ranked amateur in the country and two time champion Alex Secoda from Oklahoma City will be making his third appearance at Remington Park for CatBOX. Secoda currently holds two national championship Belts.
Tickets will be available at the door the day of the event.
