The undefeated OBU men will take on the OCU Stars (2-1) following tonight’s women’s game, and will try to improve their share in the overall series. The Stars dropped two contests to the Bison least year, but still have the advantage with 60 wins and 45 losses.

MACU at SGU
St. Gregory’s Cavaliers are on a roll, having won all five of their 2009-10 contests thus far. This is a major improvement over their 2-27 run last season, which ended with a 15-game losing streak.
The Cavs will take on Mid-America Christian following today’s 6 p.m. women’s contest at W.P. Wood Fieldhouse. SGU’s women are 5-3 after their 95-79 thumping of Central Baptist Nov. 30.
The Lady Cavaliers won their 2008-09 season opener before dropping 28 straight to finish 1-28, but they broke that skid with a season-opening 88-82 triumph over Central Baptist this year. Their three losses this season have all been close — 67-60 to Haskell, 64-62 to Texas Wesleyan and 74-70 to East Central.
The Lady Cavaliers are currently eighth in the overall standings, behind Southern Nazarene (6-2) and in front of USAO (2-6), Rogers State (6-1) and Northwestern (6-3). MACU’s Evangels (7-1) are fifth in the standings, while Oklahoma Christian (6-1, 1-0) is first, John Brown (4-3, 1-0) is second and Lubbock Christian (5-2, 1-1) is third.
SGU’s men opened the season with a 92-82 double overtime win opposite Paul Quinn University, and later defeated Columbia College 78-74 in overtime Nov. 14.
The Cavs are fifth in the overall standings, behind Oklahoma Baptist. MACU (4-3) is seventh.
