Two members of Crain’s Muscle World Limited took first place at last weekend’s 2009 USPF 12th annual Crain Open Powerlifting/Bench Press/Deadlift championships at the Crain’s Muscle World gym.
In the bench press division, Tyler Hathcock topped all entrants with a 335-pound effort and was selected as the outstanding bench presser of the meet.
In the Master’s powerlifting division (35-over), Marchand Fleming was the champion and was also selected as the outstanding powerlifter of the meet.
During the competition, Fleming squatted 600 pounds, bench pressed 340 pounds and had a 560-pound deadlift. His total lifts amounted to 1,500 pounds.
