SHAWNEE, Okla. —

Olive sweeps Earlsboro
EARLSBORO – Olive swept a pair of five-inning games from Earlsboro Tuesday, 12-2 and 7-2.
Earlsboro had singles by Patrick Bryan, Laurel Striker and Shawn Budka in the opener.
In the nightcap, the only Earlsboro hit was a two-run double by Justin Brown in the fourth inning.
Striker and Bryan took the pitching losses.
Earlsboro (2-6) will entertain New Lima Thursday with the junior high team starting things off at 3 p.m.

Terrell records two hits in Lions loss
CHANDLER — Kaitlin Terrell notched two hits Tuesday but her Chandler squad dropped a 4-1 decision to Seminole.
Rachel Barnett added a double for Chandler, now 7-5.
Chandler will play Thursday at Cushing, then compete Friday and Saturday in the Prague Tournament.

Bethel game

KONAWA — Bethel and Konawa were scheduled to play a varsity/JV softball twin bill Tuesday. Unfortunately, the umpires didn’t show up.
Bethel coach Tommy Block said the games wouldn’t be rescheduled.
Bethel (8-0) will play two games Thursday in the Prague Tournament. The Lady Wildcats will play either Glenpool or the Choctaw JV at 2 p.m.
The Lady Wildcats will take a break from the tourney Friday, then play again Saturday.

Wildcats win pair
MACOMB — Megan Maloy and Shaina Bender recorded pitching victories Tuesday as Earlsboro’s softballers rang up two 4-1 wins over Macomb. Both games went five innings.
In the opener, Maloy fanned eight in 3 1/3 innings before sustaining an injury. Bender closed out the game and had two singles in Earlsboro’s six-hit attack.
In the nightcap, Bender struck out 11, permitted one hit and issued five walks.
Jessica Sanders posted a triple in Earlsboro’s eight-hit attack. Kyla Hawkins added two singles.
Earlsboro will oppose Strother Thursday at 1:15 p.m. in the Little River Conference Tournament.

Meeker has 1-1 day
MEEKER — After dropping a 4-3 decision to Stroud to start Tuesday, Meeker rebounded for a 4-1 triumph over Luther.
Stroud outhit the host Bulldogs, 7-6. Sammie Gaspar led Meeker with two singles and drove in two runs. Meeker trailed 4-0 before scoring three times in the sixth.
Kristen Goodnight, who suffered the first-game pitching loss, took the nightcap with a seven-inning four-hitter. Goodnight walked one and fanned 10.
Taylor Woodall clubbed a two-run home run in the third inning to complete Meeker’s scoring. Woodall also had a single.
Meeker will be idle until Friday when it plays at 12:40 in the Prague Tournament.

Wanette wins two
ASHER — Wanette recorded victories over Asher (10-0) and Maud (11-1) Tuesday at the Asher Tournament. Both games went four innings.
Senior Hallea Middleton allowed two hits and fanned five against Asher while Wanette rang up 11 hits.
Sophomore Tana Middleton, sister of Hallea, had a triple. Sahara Lambert went 3-for-3 with a double. Posting two singles each were Shiloh Broce and Stephanie Compton.
Opposite Maud, Tana Middleton earned the pitching win with a no-hitter. She fanned six.
Wanette had eight hits as Kailee Himes was the ringleader with a double and triple. Hallea Middleton added two singles.
Wanette, 10-4 and the winner of its pool, will play the other pool victor Saturday at noon for the tourney championship.
