Asher swept a Saturday night makeup doubleheader from Wanette as the boys prevailed 47-29 after the girls posted a 43-34 decision.
In the opener, Asher’s girls (8-15) received 14 points from Jamie McDonald and 10 from Erin Casey. McDonald had two treys.
For Wanette, Tana Middleton registered 22 points.
Asher’s boys blanked Wanette 11-0 in the second quarter for a 28-8 halftime advantage.
Matt Johnson of Asher had a banner offensive night with a 33-point splurge that included five treys. Johnson had 19 points in the first half.
Kevin Fullingim was Wanette’s leading scorer with six.
Asher will play at Macomb Tuesday night. Wanette will entertain Oklahoma Christian.
