Two Shawnee girls, Annabeth Sampson and Katie Carter recently competed in the USGA State Championship held for Level 4 gymnasts. Sampson and Carter receive their training from Victory Athletics in Oklahoma City. Sampson won State Beam Champion in the 8 year old division. Carter won State Beam Champion in the 9 year old division. Carter also placed fourth in the All-Around competition in her age division.
