A Chandler man critically injured in an accident earlier this month died Nov. 11 from his injuries, according an updated report released Wednesday by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Rusty Dawn Harkins, 22, died at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, the OHP said.
The accident occurred about 1:57 p.m. Nov. 5 on U.S. 62, slightly west of County Road 3340 in Lincoln County.
A 1997 Chevrolet pickup driven by Harkins left the road for unknown reasons. He was transported by MediFlight helicopter ambulance to the Oklahoma City hospital with head injuries, where he later died.
The OHP said seat belts were not in use.
