Morning Jolt: John Edwards, Jennifer Hudson in court

The trial of former presidential candidate John Edwards begins today. He faces six charges related to mismanagement of money during his presidential campaign, including a charge that he spent $1 million to hide his affair and love child. Also beginning today is the trial of William Balfour, who is accused of killing Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew in 2008.
