SHAWNEE – Betty Lou Moore, a resident of Shawnee, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 in Shawnee at the age of 61. Betty was born on August 11, 1960 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Reinaldo Sapata and Celia Subia Sapata.
Betty grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas. She married Michael F Moore Sr, on September 28, 1991 in Reno, Nevada. They remained happily married for 30 years. Betty worked as a boutique Manager for Leece in Shawnee Mall for approximately 11 years. She was an active member of Life Church of Shawnee. She loved going to the casino, any time spent with her children or grandchildren, and her work at Shawnee Mall. Betty was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed. And, she was a proud Marine mother, supporting all Marine endeavors.
Betty is preceded in death by her mother and her father and her grandparents. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Longino Sapata and Orlando Sapata. Betty is survived by her husband, Michael Moore Sr. of the home; by
Betty is survived by her husband, Michael Moore Sr. of the home; by four daughters, Stephanie Lowe and husband Randy of Shawnee, Stormi Head Roller of Shawnee, Selinda Tosh and husband Michael of Shawnee, and Bobbi Ann Moore of Shawnee; by three sons, Stephen Head of Shawnee, Michael Moore Jr and wife Caycee of Shawnee, and William Moore of Shawnee; by four sisters, Mary Trevino and husband Samuel of Wichita Falls, TX, Selinda Martinez and husband Pete of Wichita Falls, Veronica Chandler and husband James of Wichita Falls, and Erica Esquibel and husband Carlos of Wichita Falls; a brother, Reinaldo Sapata Jr of Wichita Falls; 18 grandchildren, Shelbi Head, Harlee Rae, and Ford Head, Chyanne Lowe, Madilyn Lowe and Logan Lowe, Gunner Head, Zoie Roller, Kloie Roller, Kaylie Roller, Kenzi Tosh, Michael Tosh, Emma Tosh, Cruz Ahumada, Demi Ahumada, Rolando Guillen, Stetson Moore and William Moore Jr; as well as numerous extended family and many good friends.
Funeral Services for Betty will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 10:00am at Life Church of Shawnee. Interment will follow immediately afterwards at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to McElyea & Owens Funeral Group of Shawnee.
