Peggy Loraine Thrasher, 79, of McLoud passed from this life on April 2, 2022, in McLoud. She was born to Emmitt Andrew Thrasher and Mary Pauline Hendrix Thrasher on November 25, 1942, in McLoud.

Peggy spent most of her school days at McLoud, graduating in 1961. She later graduated from OSU.

Peggy was a social worker for the Department of Human Services for 26 years. She greatly enjoyed visiting with friends and family and was grateful to her dogs, Cricket and Sweetie, for letting her live in their house.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her cousins, Gloria Curtis, Joyce Brimer, J. R. Hockett and Letha Kings and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Dale Cemetery with Angelic Hospice Chaplain Aric Foster officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah. Tributes and condolences may be posted at www.asasmith.net.
