Morel Mushrooms are only found in the wild unlike other mushrooms that are commercially grown. The fungus can be found in the early spring and is sought after by chefs and mushroom lovers. The activity of hunting mushrooms can be a family activity where the family can get out and enjoy nature. They have a meaty texture with an earthy, nutty flavor.
